At Whipsnade, the residential mobile home park is surrounded by beautiful Bedfordshire countryside, yet close enough to towns and villages for easy access to all local amenities.
The village of Whipsnade contains a beautiful church, an English country pub, The Hunters Lodge, is just a five-minute walk away offering home cooked food in their restaurant and overnight accommodation. Whipsnade village boasts a thriving village hall at the centre of its community offering a range of activities and events taking place. The social club is also very active and organizes trips and entertainment throughout the year. Doctor’s surgeries are situated in the neighbouring village of Markyate and town of Dunstable.
To go out and about, public transport is available with the bus shelter provided at the entrance to the park, providing a service to Hemel Hempstead , Luton and Dunstable. Residents can also easily travel to London via excellent rail connections or venture further afield from nearby Luton Airport. The M1 motorway is easily accessed either from junction 11 or junction 9 for travelling south and is only a 20-minute drive from the park.
There are plenty of lovely walks through the surrounding beautiful countryside as well as several golf courses, Dunstable downs and it’s gliding club, National Trust Tree Cathedral, bluebell woods and of course the famous Whipsnade zoo. Good shops can be visited in the historic city of St Albans and nearby Hemel Hempstead.
